What does the photographer’s rate cover?
The photographer’s rate covers time, talent, and post-production, unless
otherwise noted. Print orders are placed separately at an additional
cost.
Do you offer discounted rates?
Discounted rates are offered on a limited basis to select charity organizations.
What types of payment do you accept?

How soon can I expect to view the images from my shoot?
Images will be available online within 2 weeks of the shoot.
May I order a CD of my DIGITAL NEGATIVES?
A CD of high-resolution digital files is now included in the photographer’s rate. The CD will be shipped at the close of the online gallery.
May I post my images online?
Yes, you are welcome to post your images online to share with friends and family. Please include a photo credit as follows:
“Jamie Clear Photography/www.jamieclear.com.”
How do I order prints?
Prints are ordered through a password protected online gallery. The gallery is available for 14 days. An email with a link to your private online gallery will be sent within 2 weeks of the shoot. Feel free to forward this link to anyone who may be interested in viewing your photographs or ordering prints. Prints are shipped directly to the address of your choice.
Ordering prints through the online gallery ensures professional quality prints. Reproduction quality can vary greatly amongst consumer quality print labs depending on both the professionalism of the individual printer and the properties of the equipment used. The CD of digital negatives is offered as a convenience to clients, but using a professional lab to make prints is HIGHLY encouraged. A list of recommended labs will be provided upon request.
WHO OWNS THE COPYRIGHT TO THE PHOTOGRAPHS?
Jamie Clear maintains the exclusive copyright to all photographic images unless a special usage agreement is included in the photography contract. A release is included in the contract which gives the client the right to use the high-resolution CD to make additional prints and the low-resolution CD to post images online. Images may not be sold or used for commercial purposes, unless agreed to in the contract.
What is the process for booking a shoot?
Contact Jamie with your availability. A tentative date will be set and at that time Jamie will be happy to offer a consultation over the phone to discuss the concept and overall stylistic approach including the best time and location for your shoot. A 50% deposit is then due to reserve the date. Upon receipt of the deposit a confirmation email will be sent, along with a contract (to be signed and returned) and additional information including all the details you need to know about your photo shoot.
